Local Toronto artist Anna Razumovskaya sees her new home at Massey Tower as another way to express herself and her creativity.

“I always say that my paintings are a reflection of myself, a reflection of the life and people surrounding me,” says Razumovskaya. “And that’s exactly what I am getting with my new home in Massey Tower.”

Razumovskaya purchased a one-bedroom suite in the exciting new 60-storey tower that is already proving one of the most successful condominium projects of 2012.

In addition to the downtown location and world-class amenities, Razumovskaya says she was drawn to the elegant historical component of Massey Tower. Designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects, Massey Tower will integrate the historically-designated 1905 Canadian Bank of Commerce Building at 197 Yonge Street.

“As an artist, the historic component of the building is very appealing to me,” says Razumovskaya. “That combination of the historical and the contemporary, along with the special energy of downtown Toronto surrounding it, makes Massey Tower a place full of life and inspiration.”

Massey Tower boasts the most desirable location of any condominium in Toronto. Located in the heart of the Theatre Block, steps from the Queen subway station and directly across the street from world-class shopping at The Eaton Centre, Massey Tower is at the centre of it all. The bustling Financial District is to the west, the historic St. Lawrence neighbourhood sits to the east and entertainment venues — including the Air Canada Centre, Yonge-Dundas Square and the Rogers Centre — are all a short walk away. Historic Massey Hall, the concert hall for which the tower is named, is located right next door.

But it is Massey Towers’ lavish amenities that truly elevate it to the highest echelon of downtown residences.

“Massey Tower brings together the best of everything,” says Gary Switzer, president and CEO of MOD Developments. “Its unique heritage components, stunning design and world-class amenities make Massey Tower unlike anything Toronto condo buyers have experienced downtown before.”
Located on the ninth and tenth floors, Massey Tower’s amenities offer the ultimate in luxury, designed to make residents feel as though they live in a five-star hotel. Residents can enjoy a martini in Massey’s own cocktail lounge or gather with invited guests in the piano/dance room. For private functions, the expansive party area, which includes a bar/lounge, relaxation lounge and dining room, is equipped with a full kitchen.
There is also a comprehensive fitness area that encompasses cardio, weights, kinesis and yoga studios, as well as his-and-hers change rooms and both sauna and steam rooms.
The tenth floor opens out onto a spectacular roof garden designed by the celebrated landscape architects, Janet Rosenberg and Associates. This tranquil urban oasis will offer intimate seating areas set amidst lush greenery and playful water features.
As for the suites, Massey Tower features a variety of designs to please every type of buyer, from compact, efficient junior one-bedrooms of just under 400 square feet, up to expansive three-bedroom designs of close to 1100 square feet. All suites at the Massey Tower feature sleek, quality finishes designed by the award-winning team at Cecconi Simone.
